well as my phone was not booting up so i went into recovery menu and without taking the backup selected the CLEAR USER DATA option i thought it would just reset it to factory setting which it didnt and whaam i ended up with a brick! >.>

first tell me what u have done step by step. Coz u cant befool them

additional info my phone was rooted....and when nothing seemed to work i tried installing a rom which also didnt work...so now i'am just looking fir the idea rom which hopefully should solve everything??

FinallY got my phone working now anyone can tell me how can i take the ROM BACKUP?? :o

First install the recovery.img using flashtool and then power on the phone with volume up key pressed with power key.

Use volume keys to navigate and power key to confirm.

Goto Backup and restore and select Nandroid Backup.

Wait patiently and done. :D

if u dont want to root then no need of backup and recovery :)) But if u want to root then all above steps are necessary.

Both. I have bricked it for three times and also repaired it. Also three times I had made it unusable but got it replaced as even the service center guys couldn't repair it. :D
