I too need it. Whenever I convert, the size is either ~180 kb or 12 MB, lol. When I get it converted by someone else, it is ~30 kb.  :o

This unhandled exception occurs occurs in the GUI program for me too. :-O Just drag your jpg to the icon of cmd version and you'll get the mif. :)
