Hi .. thanks for your prompt reply. This is my first time even trying to install any CFW. Unfortunately most CFWs seem to be for RM-356 .. and I found zero for RM-428 (US)... Probably bcos Nokia marketshare is so low in US so not many ppl would have it. Tough for us Nokia users over here  :|

I haven't heard of NFEstd before. Would appreciate any help.

Going to sleep now .. late over here .. will check the forum tomorrow.

Mate, all those updates as of c6v41 or v60 are included in this release. . .jst test it and experience urself :)

Yeah, I guess there is nothing exciting about the new core,

Still one minure issue :) I believe I need to rename the rofs2, right ???

here is the files i got:

RM-356_52.0.007_026_000_U01.uda.fpsx

RM356_0558982_52.0.007_002.dcp

RM356_0558982_52.0.007_002.vpl

RM356_0558982_52.0.007_002_signature

RM-356_52.0.007_prd.core.C00

RM-356_52.0.101_prd.rofs2.V01

What do u think?

comment_5835

yeah, jst rename the rofs2 file as 52.0.007 . . .thatz all

And make sure mcu, ppm and ape-variant button glows in jaf

Also delete folders like private, resources, sys, system frm memory card before flashing

Hmm i read somewhere that renaming the file doesn't always work. But in case it doesn't, you can repack the files using Nokia Firmware Editor.
