You must be on dual or utms mode. Make sure you select gsm mode in network and try . . .you probably wont get this much speed.

my last mobile is Nokia N 73 there also i'm using only GSM....(last 3 years that time i'm using Airtel speed upto 20 to 35 kbps i know dual mode takes more battery than single mode... )..... now (aircel network..... ) using Nokia 5235 only single GSM mode because.... here we dont hav 3G network.....Here available 3G networks are BSNL,AIRTEL,TATADOCOMO only...
