There are a lot chinese brand tablets and smartphones at your budget with great features too.

You may try Xolo Q800 smartphone for once if its available in your country. Or Ainol tablets too.

I think the Sero 7 Pro is your best option at $149 (unless you want to get a Kindle Fire HD at $159). But you could also go cheaper and buy the HP Mesquite for $99. It has about the same battery life and performance (unless you're into gaming) but is missing the cameras, HDMI port, and pretty shell. I have reviewed both tablets and I am impressed with what HP accomplished with a single core Intel chip. Ranjan Kumarfor // link removed // (S. Why don't you go and check at Samsung India site. Samsung has launched so many mobile phone available in various range.  These products are not just high on quality but also give high performance even after prolonged use.

With the amount you specified you can get Moto G or Lenovo vibe these having good front speakers as you mentioned for videos as these having good dolby sounds You can better opt these.
