Fring, one of the first applications for Symbian

supports various messaging applications such as ICQ,

AIM, MSN, Google Chat, etc. was also one of the first

to support the voice and video calls via Skype, which

allowed the conversation with anyone who was on a

PC or smartphone using Android and iOS, until Skype has changed its policy on access to its network for

third-party applications, all blocking, leaving Symbian

users without an option of video calls to other

operating systems.

Currently, Fring for Symbian also allows video calls

between fring users who have a User ID and the

installed application, but developers of Fring

announced the migration to a new platform, which will

leave aside the necessity of Id, as is done today in

WhatsApp and Viber, allowing you to find all contacts who are using Fring via the phone number in your

address book, and you can make calls through Fring

(using FringOut) to any phone number worldwide. Ok, what's new? Is it possible to make video calls and voice calls, and

exchange text messages, photos, files, etc..
