u need to convert ur startup n shutdown images to .mif files.. And then rename ur startup mif file as SplashScreen.mif and shutdown mif file as SysAp.mif..

Then put both these files in rofs2\resource\apps\.. Then repack n flash :)

this itself will not suffice. you will also have to edit 101f8763.txt to change locations from z to c or e.
