How better is it than windows? Whats the minimum configuration for installing Mac OS as per their documentation?

Apple always build their mac os x based on the hardware specifications of mac.  So they don't officially specify the minimum configuration required to installed mac os x.  You can check the hardware component compatibility here :  http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page    .    Use iATkos L2 to install on 2nd generation intel processors

Mine is Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00 Ghz, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD

Will this work on my config?

Check this out : http://www.ifans.com/forums/threads/osx86-project-help.346347/

Edit:  Your specs are on borderline.  You are bound to face errors will installing, but a custom kernel for osx86 would be more appropriate for intel pentium processor.  aryacooldude is expert in this area.  You can approach him for more info on this ;)

Ya...Surely will Work = 101%

since i have 6gb ram...

shouldnt i use x64 vr if there's any

Ya...u may... but thrz nothing Diffrnce between .. 32 & 64 bit... So. I prefer 32 Bit...

There is no special x64 or x86 variant.  os x 10.7 and 10.8 are based on x64-x86 hybrid ;)

Correct  :D
