its not a prank. there really is a patch which shows the d drive in default file manager....

and charan, you cannot install any apps on d drive.

Showing D drive and installing an application on it are two different things, are't they?

Moreover, We can even see ROM in X-Plore, File Browser etc. But that does not mean that we can install apps on Z:

Nononono.... 1st of alll...... thtz ROM patchers patch : Show D:  Drive(RAM Disk).......... thtz will be shown in Default File manager........made by Newcoller....... and U may Install on it...but it will stay on tht until ur Cell is powered on.......and will wiped after Restart .....as I think...... may be it get installed on C: disk,,,,....check the sizes.....and try to restart .....

RAM is Random access memory It is Read and write memory but looses the memory stored as soon as the device loose the connection. So, anything stored in this memory will last only for time being until the device isnt restarted or shut-down. Installing apps in this drive isnt preferable. RAM has its own purpose, it is not intended for file storage. For storage, we have fixed storage volumes (Phone memory and external memory).
