Guys help me in selecting blog software best available..! i'm till now decided wordpress but i'm unaware of other..! my website would be of sports content and i need like i shud be able to edit top news and grid like view of my articles. so suggest me best and why u suggesting give reason too..!

i know this may be the wrong place to ask, but can i have a blog in my regular site?? like have it liked to the blog site but have the extention looking somewhat like this "www.mysite.com/blog" ?

yeah u can have simply create a folder like this in your server "public_html\blog" and than copy all wordpress files into that folder and when u go to ur site\blog installlation page will appear and u done..!
