thanx fr ur reply yar bt can u help me out actuall i have linspirate 2.1 all fils fr my nokia 5230....bt during flashing when i press switch key once....the device manager shows nokia 5230 rom nd in very less time that goes out nd jaf doesnt found my fone.....i had tried on both windows 8 nd xpsp 2 , ny solution fr that......

is there any other method of flashing without switching off fone???

press the power on button for a little more time n leave it when jaf finds the phone ..

Edit the 200009fe.txt file in private\10202be9 urself ...add the path in 0x1xxxx line which u don't want to be read by gallery.

Ok tell me the exact folder names which u have created in E:\ and want to hide their contents from gallery. Exact location & folder names. I'll try

folders names are "photos" , "wallpapers", " hidden" and i made one can u check if it is correctly made ? coz it did work with krystal 1.5  using v32 core

no bro u r totally wrong ...i hope u have created those folders in E:\

and the folders (not to be read by gallery) should be added to 0x1XXXX lines

In ur case, just add these lines to the 200009fe.txt & save. Then copy to C:\Private\10202be9 and restart ur phone.

0x10010 string "\\photos\\" 0
0x10011 string "\\wallpapers\\" 0
0x10012 string "\\hidden\\" 0

Or attach the original file here. I'll do it for u. Extract the 200009fe.txt file from Z:\Private\10202be9
