Alright, I've been trying all night to find someone on the entire internet that can walk me through how to root my android from SCRATCH. I have no idea whatsoever what ADB or fastshooting is, or any program or .rar files, nothing. My e-mail is [email protected], if anyone can please, PLEASE, walk me through from the very beginning on how to root my PANTECH BURST, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm running a Windows 7 Toshiba, if anyone at all in the entire universe can be very descriptive and please, just please help me before I smash this phone and my computer. Thanks! //don't share you personal info here navratn123

Virgin Mobile CDMA S-OFF Without XTC-Clip Confirmed Working! Ok so I spent hours reading post after post and thread after thread trying to figure out how I could get S-OFF on my Virgin Mobile Wildfire S without having to use an XTC clip. I was told by another user (thehumble1) that I was able to do it without the use of an XTC Clip and it seems to only work with CDMA versions of the Wildfire S. So after hours of trial and error and frustration I finally was able to get S-OFF without the use of an XTC Clip. I decided to write a tutorial specifically to the Virgin Mobile Wildfire S users so that they don't have to do all the searching that I did. *I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE …

What is SuperCharger v6? Android comes in a thousand different forms and flavors. This is great for those who like choice and variety when selecting a handset. However, it also means that some phones will inevitably perform worse than others. Anyone who’s used a Samsung Galaxy S II and moved to a low-end phone with an old version of Gingerbread can certainly tell the difference. The devices with less built-in power tend to struggle more and perform inadequately when compared to their processor-heavy cousins. This would be an issue, but it’s Android. As usual, somebody from the community has solved the problem and published his tweak for the masses. The V6 SuperCharger…

The model is HTC Sensation. They both have same processor, same screen resolution and same brand. I tried to port by following various guides but only able to get boot animation. Hello Everyone. Recently I received my HTC Desire S and had a difficult time sorting out how to set-up ADB and Fastboot. So I made this tutorial so others may find it easy. Q: Why do we need to setup ADB and Fastboot? A: Well there are many purposes of setting up ADB which even I dont know yet completely But the main reason for setting it up is required by users who have unlocked their HTC Device's bootloaders using HTCDev Unlock. This unlock is although permanent, but it conflicts when you are about to flash a Custom ROM. People who have tried their hands-on some Custom ROMs might already know that it also contain a "boot.img" file. This file is normally flashed a…

Another issue in samsung galaxy mobile phones is the strong security offered by pattern lock. pattern locks once set and put to ON mode, just give you few chances to get it right and unlock the mobile, and if unfortunately anybody forgets the pattern lock, what to do? http://forum.gizmolord.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1263.0;attach=2757 Few guys report to hard reset the mobile but that wont work. to hard reset you need to be on screen. so there should be some other way. Yes there is always a geeky way to achieve! If you forgot your pattern lock, just give few more tries to continue wrong efforts, at an instance, the OS will report 'attempts exceeded, ente…

What is Root? Rooting, simply put, is gaining full permissions to do whatever you want to the phone. In this case, we need to get root access and install a new recovery console that allows backup and replacing of a ROM. It's like gaining an Administrator Priviledge on Windows Os. What is Rom? Read Only Memory. A ROM is an image of the phone’s operating system. There lots of known custom ROms out there like CyanogenMod, MoDaCo, Bionix etc. What is Flashing? A full flash involves re-writing the phone's operating system (the OS i.e. how you install windows on a computer to use it) to flashable ROM (Read-only Memory). Flashable means although it is call…

Things Required: - root privileges - a terminal emulator - live wallpapers - GScript what you have to do is: - download GScript from market (lite or paid version, works with both) - launch it, then press Menu/Add script - give it a name, be sure to check 'Needs SU', then type this in the text field below renice -15 `pgrep android.process.acore' where android.process.acore is the LauncherPro process name. If you're using another launcher you have to do a google search and find its process name - now save, and try executing it and see if it works - add a shortcut to GScript on your home which launches the script. With this approach you have to launch …

* Disclaimer: I do not take any responsibility for anything you do to your phone, whether be brick, break, or somehow mess it up.* Requirements 1. You must have the sdk installed and you are able to access, and use adb and fastboot. 2. You must have debugging enabled on your Nexus 7. 3. Download Su here 4. Download CWM here Pre-Steps To make this easier, you should put the su zip on the sdcard for later. 1. In terminal, cd to the directory you have your sdk in. Then cd into platform-tools. 2. Type adb push path-to-zip/JB-SuperSU.zip /sdcard Unlocking Your Nexus 7 To unlock your device 1. cd to platform-tools 2. Reboot to the bootloader - adb reboo…

I decided to create a clean tutorial (as the method started with several bugs and issues) for those who want to root their HTC explorer. will be editing it as new improvements appear. btw, this will NOT change anything in your phone, it just make root access possible, if you want overclock and ext-2/3/4 partitions posible look here once you finish rooting with this tutorial. 1. Install HTC Sync on your PC You can download it from Here (needed so computer recognises commands) 2. Unlock your phone's bootloader - Follow the steps from here Note: HTC Explorer isn´t listed as a working device yet but it has been tested and works perfectly. Choose "all ot…
